The basic features of MNREGA 2005 are:-)
1 This act provide employment to the poor people. One third employment is reserved for women.
2 This act guarantees 100 days wages employment to rural households.
3 The scheme will be started in 200 districts. Later this scheme will be extended to 600 districts.
