what are the basics should i know before I opt for computer science group...(bcoz my school hadn't taught computer subject for past 2 years)
what are the job opportunities other than engineering if we go for computer science... pls answer any experts..?

1. You should have a keen interest on in learning not only computers but also other technologies  as they are inter linked together.

2. You should be ready to program in computers which you learn after opting computer science.

3. You should have a knowledge of English and Mathematics as they will also help in computer stream.

4. Computers are practical things.... so if you are ready to learn by understanding the concepts,it will be easy for you and you will develop an interest in the subject. Mugging up will not work out even if you bi-heart the whole book in your mind.

its seriously a big problem for u becoz u r totally unprepared...so it would be better if u should leave this subject..or work hard and learn,practice everything u missed these past years cauz it may sound simple but ahead computer science is more complicated then u think....with computer science u have a lot scope on if u r able to survive it...
