✨Yoga is a about 500 years old practise . It consists of physical , mental exercise to gain peace . The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word " yuj" . It is the combination of the Spirit and the soul of human body .
✨There are various techniques involved in it which include breathe control exercise , balancing and stretching exercises .
✨These are called the Asanas . There are various different types of Asanas.
Some of these include :
⭐Surya namaskaar
⭐padma asana.
⭐Chakra asana.
⭐Garud asana.
⭐Vriksha asana.

✨Yoga keeps our body relaxed and healthy . It can be a very good measure to ensure the smooth functioning of our body muscles . It helps to attain peace and reduces stress . It is especially very beneficial for the old people as it keeps their muscles and body parts working . It also helps to burn body fat and stay slim and fit . It can be an excellent stress buster for the over stressed adults . Initially , yoga was not given much importance and not many people realised its benefits but today , our country has realised the need and importance of yoga. today various camps are organised to practise yoga . Yoga classes are also being held in schools and have become an important part of school curriculum.

Yoga is a precious gift given to us by nature in order to get connected with life and know about our mind, body and soul. It is an ancient practice that was introduced in India approximately around six thousand years ago. It is very important for everyone's life as it helps in balancing the relationship between body and mind. It is mainly associated with the body in many ways like meditation and relaxation.
Yoga was earlier practiced by the Hindus, Jains and the Buddhas. In context to India, yoga is a spiritual discipline which includes all the practices including the earlier ones like breath control, hatha yogas (asanas). The main branches of yoga are:
It focuses on the meditation and the path of devotion in order to know oneself fully.
It is a path of devotion, which includes chantings and ones eternal love for God.
It includes all the scriptures and the ways to inquire / know the nature of ourself. It is also known as the path to knowledge.
It includes the quality of doing the good deeds for others without being selfish (selflessly). In this yoga, one is not concerned much about the outcomes of the actions performed.
Now, last but not the least, the It includes performing all the yoga postures that is, the asanas of yoga like pranayam, halasan, shavasan and many more.
If these asanas and yogas are practised with dedication and proper care plus regular practice, they can really improve ones body, mind and soul (nature).
After the continuous efforts of our honorable Prime Minister , the UN General Assembly declared 21st June as International Yoga Day and now it is a worldwide event that is celebrated by the people through practicing yoga and also with some sort of cultural performances.
Yoga is a kind of exercise that can be performed by everyone in daily lives. Nowadays, teenagers want to eat much and also stay fit, yoga is the best solution to this problem as it keeps people fit and also fulfill the needs of demanding life of the teenagers.
If you do yoga for at least just ten to twenty minutes, it will completely awake you and will run a wave of energy in your body. Yoga is good for a healthy life style rather than a medicine.
Now, if we talk about the benefits of yoga, it is very beneficial if it's practiced daily in the morning as it's the best time to do yoga. It can be used in getting rid of illnesses. It is really useful in having a control of mind, negative thoughts and emotions also reducing anger, stress and anxiety. Students should also practice yoga in order to increase their concentration level towards studies. It reduces your tensions and strengthens your brain functions. Moreover, it is also helpful in the flexibility of spine and making lower back stronger.
Yoga's purpose is to create a harmony of mind, body, and soul of human beings. Yoga is a live blessing of God to us as i it does not take anything in return but gives us health, fitness and even happiness. So, improve your self esteem, self awareness and self control with the help of yoga.
The best way to understand yoga is to try it out yourself.
