The building blocks of all ‘living organisms’ are living cells. They repeated themselves to form tissues.

Tissues combine to form ‘organs’ which play important role in all the life support processes such as digestion, respiration, circulation, etc. The plant cell is different from the animal cell.

As both types of living cells have different functions and roles. Overall living cells are the repeated units or building blocks of ‘life’.
