As we are becoming more modern and industrial day by day we are constantly harming and polluting our mother nature accordingly.

Due to this pollution and industrialization ,our surroundings are changing vastly.

We can rarely see natural vegetation around us in the proper urban areas due to this modernization and industrialization.

The changes in our surroundings are either caused by natural or man-made reasons.

CHANGES DUE TO NATURAL CAUSES:

The natural causes which impact the surroundings around us are as follows:

1. Due to heavy rainfall, excessive water flows through the lands which changes the surrounding.

2. The unexpected movement of tectonic plates called Earthquake, destroys most of the buildings if its height is high.

3. Soil erosion erodes most of the soil which causes land sliding around us.

4. Landslides in hilly or mountain region, slides away the rocks and causes huge destruction.

CHANGES DUE TO MAN-MADE CAUSES:

The man-made changes are as follows,

1. The increase in population causes replacement of agricultural lands with commercial buildings and apartments.

2. Many water bodies are totally destroyed for highway roads for the better transportation of people.

3. Huge number of trees are cut down to construct buildings.

The disaster by the human has more impact than the disaster by the nature. This is because the destruction caused by the nature recovers itself but the man-made destruction remains forever. For example, tons and tons of plastics floating in the ocean.
