Dr.bhimrao Ambedkar was born on April 14,1891 in mhow. He was the fourteen child of Ramji and bhimbhai sakpal ambedkar. B R ambedkar belonged to t "untouchable "Mahar caste. His father and grandfather served in the British Army.
Dr ambedkar attend all the three Round table conference In London and forcefully argued for the
welfare of the untouchable. meanwhile, British government decided to hold provincial election in 1937.

Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar is a famous economist, politician and social reformar.He is the great architect of Indian Constitution.

This great leader was born on 14th April 1891 at Mahu in Madhya Pradesh.His father was Ramji Maloji Sekpal who was a Subedar at Mahu.His mother was Bhimabai Murbadkar Sekpal.

Dr.Ambedkar was born in Mahar caste which was low caste of Harijan.At that time Indian used to treat the low caste very badly.The Dalits (low caste) were treated as untouchables.When Ambedkar was a child he wasn't allowed to sit with the other children in the classroom.He and other Dalit children had to sit outside of the class.But still Ambedkar persued higher education ignoring all the humiliation and provery.

He started his education from his village school.Then he went to Elphinstone High School in Bombay.He was the first Dalit to get admission in that school.While studying there he was married to Ramabai.After passing Matriculation exam in 1907,he was admitted to Elphinstone college.Maharaja of Baroda was really impressed with intelligent Ambedkar.He gave him a scholarship to send him to America for higher education.He studied at Columbia university.

Dr.Ambedkar returned to India as a secretary of the Maharaja of Baroda.But he couldn't stay at the position because of his caste.He
started practicing at Bombay High coart.He always wanted to save the low caste of India from the rude and bad behaviour from the society.He is himself a victim of caste discrimination.He fought for the low caste for their diginity,Right of Education,Right to enter temple etc.He got into an argument with Gandhiji over the separate election for the Dalit which was proposed by Ramsey MacDonald.In the Poona Pact (1932)both of them decided that Dalit will get more reserved seat but the separate election won't happen.

Dr.Ambedkar was the chairman of the drifting committee of the indian constitution.In 1948 he completed framing the indian constitution.He is the first Law Minister of Independent India.

For his great contribution to India,He was awarded the 'Bharat Ratna'.

This great person died on 6th December 1956.
