the major sources of water pollution are discharge of domestic wastes and garbage into nearby water bodies. the wastes from the chemical and industrial factories have toxic substances. water is also polluted by chemical manures and fertilisers. the radioactive water from nuclear power plants also pollute the h water. oil spills are also a great issue!
