Hi..

here is your answer. ..

In 1953 James Watson and Francis crick proposed DNA Structure based on x-ray .

DNA molecules consists of 2 long strands coiled around a common, imaginary, central axis to form a double helix.

The diameter of dna Molecules is 2 nm .
the spiral ladder like structure of dna molecules is a deflection of pitch angle 36° between 2 successive steps.

RNA. -

It is a nucleic acid found in the nucleus as well as in the cytoplasm .

there are main types of RNA.

1. Genetic rna.

2. Non genetic rna.

The genetic rna acts as genetic material of some viruses.

The non genetic rna functions for the protein synthesis in most of the organism.

hope it helps you. ☺

DNA - Deoxyribonucleic Acid

DNA is a double stranded helical structure made by nucleotides.
these nucleotides contain a sugar group, a phosphate group and a nitrogenous base. Nitrogenous bases are of four types (i) Adenine (ii) Thymine (iii) Cytosine (iv) Guanine.
These bases are arranged in specific manner which determines DNA's instructions or Genetic codes.
DNA is a main genetic material which is responsible for inheritance of characters from parent to progeny.

RNA - Ribonucleic acid

RNA is also a nucleic acid just like DNA but it shows some variation.
It contains Pentose sugar while DNA contain ribose sugar. In RNA Uracil is present in place of Thymine. Other nitrogenous bases are same as DNA.
It is also responsible for transmission of inheritable characters in lower organism like Viruses.
