characteristics of Arthropod -:

1. This Phylum includes the largest group of animals.

2.These animals are bilaterally symmetrical and segmented.

3. there is an open circulatory system, and so the blood does not flow in well defined blood vessels.

4. Thee coelomic cavity is blood- filled called haemocoel.

5. their jointed legs( the word 'arthropod' means' jointed legs'.

examples - ,butterflies , houseflies



characteristics of mollusca

1. The animals belonging to this Phylum have bilateral symmetry

2. The coelomic cavity is reduced.

3. There is a little segmentation.

4. They have an open circulatory system and kidney- like organ for excretion.

5. There is a foot that is used for moving around.

example Octopus, snails and mussels.



characteristics of pteridophyta

1. the plants body is differentiated into roots stems and leaves and has specialised tissue for the conduction of water and other substance from one part of the plant body to other.
