The matter is classified into three types mainly:

1.Solids

2.Liquids

3.Gases

In solids the molecules are tightly packed and interpackable space is less, compressibility is less, force of attraction is more, solids have definite shape and definite volume and the diffusion rate in solids is less.

in liquids molecules are some what loosely packed than solids, interpackable space is intermediate means average, compressibility is also intermediate, force of attraction is less compared to solids ,liquids have no definite shape but definite volume and liquids diffuse some what more compared to solids.

in gases the molecules are loosely packed, interpackable space is less, compressibility is more, force of attraction is less, and gases have no definite shape and no definite volume, and gases can diffuse fastly .

and thank u so much for giving me 50 points ..

  • The particles of matter are very, very small.
  • The particles of matter have space between them.
  • The particles of matter are constantly moving.
  • The particles of matter attract each other.
