YOUR ANSWER IS (-2,3)

X+3Y=7

multiply it by 2

2X+6Y=14 ..........1

2X+Y=-1..............2

subtract eq 1 from 2

5Y=15

Y=3

put value in eq 1 of y

2X+18=14

2X=-4

X=-2

coordinates of intersection is (X,Y)

so it is (-2,3)
