Bengal ,awadh and hyderabad all three were major source of revenues and gave most of the contribution to revenue.

These three were important princely or imperial provinces during the British Raj. All three had Nawabs or Muslim rulers in power. Culturally, all three were far advanced compared to most of the rest of undivided India.
