Hola..!!

The main component of transportation system is the blood. The blood consists of a fluid medium called plasma in which the cells are suspended. Plasma transports food, oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogenous wastes in dissolved form.
The other important parts of the transport system are as follows :

The heart is pumped for the transportation of oxygen and carbon dioxide by blood. The oxygenated blood is pumped to all the body parts and the di-oxygenated blood is pumped to the lungs.

The lungs transport the oxygen to the heart and remove the carbon dioxide.

The blood vessels carry the blood away from the heart to various organs of the body. The Arteries carry oxygenated blood and the Veins carry di-oxygenated blood. The smallest vessels are called the capillaries.

It receives deoxygenated blood from the various body parts and sends this impure blood to the lungs for oxygenation. Bloodhelps in the transport of oxygen, nutrients, CO2, and nitrogenous wastes.
