What is Ammeter?

Ammerer is an electronic device connected in an circuit.

It is used to find out the amount of current flowing through the circuit ( I ).

CONDITIONS FOR CONNECTING AMMETER :-

=> AMMETER should be connected in series with the resistor to findout its current.

=> Ammeter is of low resistivity so small amount of current should be allow to flow through it if high current flows iy may broken down.

=> Ammeter shouldnot connect with voltmeter in series because voltmeter has high resistance which should be connected in parrallel.

VOLTMETER is a device used to find out potential difference across two ends of a conductor .

RELATION BETWEEN VOLT AND AMPERE :-

Ohm's law has put forward a relation between Voltage and current.

It states that Potential difference across two ends of a conductor is directly propertional to the current flowing through it.

This law also relates to a constant i.E  resistance .

Answer:

Ammeter is an device which is used to measure the current in the wire in which current is flowing.

Explanation:

* Ammeter is made up of low resistance wire so that small amount of current is allowed to flow through the ammeter.

* If high current flows in the ammeter, the ammeter may be blasted or burnt due to large amount of current. Wire does not bear the heat of electric current.

* Ammeter is not connected in series combination because it is made up of low resistance wire so that it is connected in parallel combination.
