derive units: the units of measurement of all other physical quantities , which can be obtained from fundamental units are called derive units.
derive quantities:
derived quantity. any secondaryquantity, such as volume, derived from a combination of base quantities, such as mass, length, and time.

Derived Quantity

Derived quantity can be defined as physical quantities other than length, mass, time, electric current, temperature, amount of substance and luminous intensity are obtained by raising one or more of the fundamental quantities to suitable powers. Such units are called derived units. The derived derived units of certain physical quantities are obtained below:

1. Volume = length × breadth × height

=> Volume = m × m × m = m³

2. Density = mass / volume

=> Density = kg / m³

3. Velocity = Displacement / Time

=> Velocity = m / s

Derived Unit

These are the units of derived quantity. These units are obtained from one or more fundamental units. These depend upon each other.

1. Newton (N)

2. Joule (J)

3. Watt (W)
