SOUND WAVES ARE OF TWO TYPES:-

1.) MECHANICAL ( which require medium to travel)

2.) ELECROSTATIC ( which don't require medium to travel)

MECHANICAL WAVES ARE FURTHER OF TWO TYPES:-

1.) LONGITUDINAL WAVES:-

A wave in which the particles of the medium vibrate back and forth in the same direction in which the wave is moving, is called longitudinal wave.

2.) TRANSVERSE WAVE

A wave in which the particles of the medium vibrate up and down at right angles to the direction in which the wave is moving, is called a transverse wave.

Here is your answer mate ↙️↙️☺️☺️✌️✌️

There are mainly two types of Sound waves
Longitudinal,and Transverse waves.

1.Transverse Wave :- the particles of the medium move perpendicular to the direction that the pulse moves

2.longitudinal :- In this case, the particles of the medium move parallel to the direction that the pulse moves.

Hope this helps you dude ☺️☺️⭐⭐✌️✌️
