What are the difference between conduction and radiation ?

Convection is the transfer of energy by movement of a medium, whereas radiation is the transfer of energy by, well, thermalradiation. Conduction also requires a medium, but, again, it is a fundamentally different mechanism than either convection orradiation; in this case it is the transfer of energy through a medium

CONDUCTION Conduction is the mode of transfer of heat only in solids. During conduction the molecules of solids does not move . RADIATION Radiation is the mode of transfer of heat in solid, liquid and gas.
