Explanation:

There are two different values that are used when determining primary and secondary colors. Using a brightness additive value (creating the color white) , the primaries are R, G, and B - Red, Green, and Blue. Secondaries for these primaries are Cyan, Yellow and Magenta . However, we use CMYK or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and K (where K value= Black). The extra value of K is used because CMY together is more of a dark brown than black. The science isn’t the best, so black is used to complete the color.
