Five hundred daily passengers blocked railway tracks near Uttarpara. The eyewitness stated that the reason for the fight was that one of the boys was injured by some weapon when there was a clash between the passengers of a Howrah-bound Amritsar Mail and the daily commuters.
The passenger was not paying money to the commuter so he took out the weapon from his pocket and by mistake attacked the boy. The services was resumed after several hours following police investigation.

Strain started off at Belgharia Railway station on Friday morning after travelers infringed upon the railroad tracks and upset train administrations for about 60 minutes. The rail blockage was activated due to supposed unintelligible declaration of the appearance and flight of trains since the morning.
Various nearby trains, both in the UP and Down area was late a result of the dissent. "This has been proceeding throughout the previous barely any days. There is not really any declaration and if there is whatsoever any, it is imperceptible. We have carried this to the notice of the railroad experts over and over yet things have not changed," an every day worker Sitaram Ghosh said.
