Metalled roads are commonly found in urban areas and are all-weather roads.
eg:-
In India Golden Quadrilateral Super Highway, National Highways, Statehighways and most of the Districtroads are Metalled.
However, un-metalled are found in rural ares and can't be used during rainy season.
