Heya Mate..........................

Here is your answer..............................

==> Sub Metropolitan city is one in which people from different parts, with different languages, cultures and customs, live together.

==> Metropolitan city is one which is having a population of 40 lakhs and more. It is a core city linked with suburban areas and well connected to it.

==> A metropolitan city can also be a sub metropolitan  city but not vice versa.

==> In India, the examples of metropolitan cities are Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Benguluru , Hyderabad.

hope this helps.......

Satellite cities are smaller cities that are near to a large city that is the center of a metropolitan area. They are different from suburbs, subdivisions and bedroom communities because they have their own centre.
