1)The Andaman and Nicobar islands are originated from volcanic eruptions but Lakshadweep islands are originated from coral reefs(skeleton of sea anemones) 

2) Andaman and Nicobar islands stretched in Bay of Bengal and Lakshadweep stretched in Arabian sea 

3) Total geographical area of Andaman and Nicobar islands is 8249 km and Lakshadweep is 32 km

4)Andaman and Nicobar islands has a population of 356,154 people.The population of Lakshadweep Island is 51707 people.
