2. Compounds are Homogeneous.

3. It's composition is fixed.

4. These are pure in nature.

5. New substance is formed.

MIXTURE :-

1. Mixture implies the intermingling of two or more substances into one physically.

2. These can be either Homogeneous or Heterogeneous.

3. Its composition is not fixed or variable.

4. These are impure in nature.

5. No new substance is formed.
