what are the different forms of power sharing in modern democracy give an example of each of these

Power is shared among two different levels of gvt. ie, among the rajya sabha and the lokh sabha....... rajya sabha is having some special power in making laws... but lokh sabha also have the same power... If lokh sabha is passing any law based on any matter if rajya sabha is not ok with it or have to changr something, rajya sabha can appeal for a stay but lokh sabha may or may not accept these changes.... 
in case of money matter lokh sabha is having supreme power... once the lokh sabha passes the budget or any thing rajya sabha cant oppose it...
