What are the different ways in which glucose is oxidised to provide energy in various organisms?

Glucose is oxidized in the following ways:

in yeast, in the absence of oxygen, it is converted into ethanol + no energy(fermentation)

in muscle cells, in the presence of limited amount of air, it is converted into lactic + some amount of energy

in mitochondria of the cells, it is converted into carbon di-oxide+ water+energy
