The basketball court has front court, backcourt, three point line, free throw lanes and low blocks. The borders along the length of the courts are the side-lines. And those along the ends are baselines. Midcourt line is the one separating the entire court into two equal halves. In the centre of the midcourt line lies the centre circle with a diameter of 12 feet where the centre toss takes place to start the game. The basketball court constructed with the rules laid down by the FIBA (International basketball federation) 28 by 15 meters. This is smaller than the court constructed under NBA Rules.
