Explanation:

The first one day match was held on 5th January 1971. The two teams played the match was England and Australia . It happened in the Melbourne city   cricket ground. The match had 40 overs and each over consisted of 8 balls. The match was played with whit kits and red colour ball. Australia team won the toss and they chose top bat first. England who batted first scored 190 runs in 39.4 overs and lost all its wickets.
