Answer:
See, whatever BJP government introduces it's for welfare of country from all sides.
But, since the CAA isn't introduced properly By the government I mean the information isn't spread properly about it , so we can't say anything.
As we all NEWS CHANNELS always tell the NEWS as per their thinking not as per government's thinking .
Disadvantages of CAA:
There are many disadvantages of CAA. First of all it is the amendment in Citizens Act which previously allowed all the people who fulfills the criteria for Indian Citizenship to get the citizenship status, irrespective of their place of origin or religion. But the CAA restricts this eligibility for only non Muslims from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
It is discriminatory because it violates the principle of Secularism of our country, which prohibits the government to discriminate on the grounds of religion. Second it is a futile practice because the violators will be held in detention centres, which will require huge sum of money to be build. Instead of looking for such practices the government should have instead focused on the economy of the country, because India is going through worst economic crisis of this century.
Protests are held against this act in every major city of India and also in some foreign countries where Indian populations are high, but the government has decided to suppress this protests at every cost, that's why there were incidents of violence in Jamia and JNU campuses.
