This method helps in retrieving the nutrition of soil by growing the crops on the field and then burning the remains once the crop is harvested, the ash makes the soil fertile. But the method has also various disadvantages like it causes a lot of air pollution because of the emission of harmful gases like carbon monoxide . There is always a fear of the fire spreading and burning the nearby forest regions.
