✴️✴️Positive charge is not uniformly distributed , it is concentrated in a very small region called nucleus.
✴️According to Rutherford electron rotates around nucleus in a stationary orbits,which contradicts with the model proposed by Thomson.

1. It was unable to explain the scattering experiment of Rutherford .
2. The theory did not mention anything about the nucleous of an atom .
3. Thomson's atomic model failed to explain how the positive charge holes on the electrons inside the atom .
