the ecnomic importance of western ghats is that it is mainly composed of barren lands which act as areas free from human interferance thus it helps the scientist to study the nature clearly . this oppurtunity is provided to foreign scientist which poers the indian ecnomical power . many rivers flow through the western ghats this also helps us in the generation of hydroelectric power which is purchased by nepal or other states rising india's ecnomical power
