The Battle of Plassey was a decisive victory of the British East India Company over the Nawab of Bengal and his Frenchallies on 23 June 1757. The battle consolidated the Company's presence in Bengal, which later expanded to cover much of India over the next hundred years.

Hey mate
Here is your answer

●●Effect of Battle of Plassey-:

The Battle of Plassey was a major battle that took place on 23 June 1757 at Palashi, Bengal. It was an important British East India Company victory over the Nawab of Bengal and his French allies. It let the British East India Company take control of this part of the Indian subcontinent.
The battle of Plassey provided the British a lot of political privileges too. Mir Jafar, the Nawab of Bengal was no more than a puppet in the hands of the British. So, Clive got enough opportunity to strengthen the political base of the British not only in Bengal with also in other parts of India.

●●Result of Battle of Plassey-:

The condition of the common of Bengal gradually deteriorated due to the weakness of the Nawab. Lawlessness and continuous economic exploitation of the servants of the company broke the backbone of Bengalese who once upon a time used to lead a prosperous life.

The Battle of Plessey ushered in a new era in the history of India. It was a turning point not only in the history of Bengal but also in the history of whole of India.
