What are the effects of greenhouse gases and nuclear plants?

It has been already proved that the greenhouse emissions from nuclear plants are far less than those emitted by coal powered or natural fossil powered plants. Although this is true but the scenario changes if the nuclear containment fails by any means. there will be huge greenhouse gas emission and it will be a catastrophe.
