What are the electrons that flow in electric wires are they same as electrons that flow in atom . If yes do the atoms also flow along with electrons . Why? Why not?

The energy is transferred completely separately from the current flow. This is where the voltage and more specifically the potential difference comes in. Voltage is essentially like static electricity. Each wire is charged, one charged negatively with an excess of electrons, and one charged positively with a deficit of electrons. The charge, as with any charged object, settles on the surface of the conductor. This is because like charge repels, and even distribution around the surface allows the maximum distance between the excess electrons, or excess “holes” (positive conductor ions left by an absence of electrons).
