Explanation:

in series =r1+r2+r3

=2+3+4=9ohms.

in parallel =1/r1+1/r2+1/r3

1/2+1/3+1/4

=12/13

=0.92ohms.

Answer:

LET,R1=3,R2=4,R3=5 ohm

FOR SERIES COMBINATION,

Req=R1+R2+R3=3+4+5=12 ohm

FOR PARALLEL COMBINATION,

1/Req=1/R1+1/R2+1/R3

=1/3+1/4+1/5

=20+15+12/60

=47/60.

Req =60/47
