The upper layer of earth's crust is known as soil.

Temperature and Rainfall are the two factors responsible for soil formation.

Hey friend take a look how its formed?

There are big - big rocks which break up due to the influence of temperature and rainfall into small pieces and then turn into dust which forms and makes up soil.

Soil is the upper layer of Earth' s crust consisting Sima and Sial .

Around billion years ago soil was formed due to breaking down of rocks along with decayed plant and organic part of extinct animal with occurence of rainfall and heat due to which it contract and expand and the rocks broke into small pieces and due to those organic elements the the smaller particle gained humus . The part of soil which contains less humus is less fertile and the part of soil that contains more humus is more fertile .
