Following are the factor which affect absorption in plant

★ available soil water - plant absorb capillary water, which is present in soil absorption of water depends on amount of capillary water present in the soil. Absorption increases by increasing amount of capillary water.

★ soil temperature - low temperature decreases the permeability of cell membrane

★ soil air - absorption of water processed more rapidly in well aerated soil.......etc
