There are many geographical factors that can influence development and growth of the natural vegetation in India.
Those factors are climate (i.e. precipitation and temperature), soil and topography.
Example-Rainfall is more essential in the regions except the Himalaya Mountains than temperature.
On the other hand, temperature must be less while cultivating the Ravi crops.
Alluvial soil is important for cultivating rice. Joar and Bajra are produced in the desert areas.
