there are three types of factors that affect on vapor pressure :

i. Nature of liquid:

Vapour pressure depends upon nature of liquid.Volatile liquids have weak intermolecular forcesof attraction hence have greater vapour pressure. While vapour pressure of liquids having strongintermolecular forces of attraction have lessvalue of vapour pressure.

ii. Temperature:

As temperature increases vapour pressure ofliquid also increases.

iii. Addition of solute:

If non-volatile solute is added to liquid its vapourpressure decreases.

Answer:

Vapor pressure is the pressure caused by the evaporation of liquids. Three common factors that influence vapor press are surface area, intermolecular forces and temperature. The vapor pressure of a molecule differs at different temperatures.
