Amount of Heat produced depends on :-
1) Square of current flowing
2) Resistance of wire
3) Time

It is directly proportional to amount of current flowing through it, time taken by a constant amount of current flowing through it, resistance offered by the conductor
Or
Heat=(current)^2*Resistance*time taken
Or
Heat=(current)^2*Resistance*time taken
