What are the factors responsible for huge diversity flora and fauna in india

geographical areas of India in western part great old aravali rang separate western Rajasthan from Eastern part and due this western Raj have thar desert.and eastern rajasthan have lot of green area and very different biodiversity.same in central India where vindhyachal become water divider of India it separate north and south India and divide water flow of river from kuch ki kaadi and bay of Bengal.in southern part neelgri mountain found they called western ghat which is hotspot of biodiversity in India after Himalayan range these separate India in to small area and also separate climate of these area from other part of India that why India have lot of biodiversity
