factors that affect vapor pressureinclude addition of a given non volatile solute , change in temperature or pressure bcoz if u add more solute the solvent layer will get covered with it and less surface will be left for the vapor to escape.

Vapor pressure is that fraction of the total air pressure at a point that is due to the presence of water vapor in the air. For determining the vapor pressure, the temperature is a dominant factor - as temperatures increase, the air molecules (including those associated with the water vapor) increase in speed, thereby increasing the pressure exerted. The value of the vapor pressure at saturation depends nearly totally on the temperature
