✺Democracy is a form of government where rulers of the country are are chosen by te people. These leaders act as representatives who represent the the people and take decisions regarding the nation. It is considered to be the best form of government due to various features which describes it more clearly.

♠️Here, I have discuss the important features and in each of the feature, I have provided one example of any country which doesn't follow the feature. It would be easier to understand the features.

✺ The government is run by people who are elected by the people. The electorate choose their representatives at the time of election. So many millions of people can't gather to take decisions, That's why we choose our representatives, Thus it is better known to be♦️Representative Democracy.

• ⚠️In Oct 1999 at Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf led a military coup to overthrow a democratically elected government and declared himself the chief executive of the country. In 2002, a referendum was held which granted him 5 year extension as president. He passed a legal framework order.

✺Citizens enjoy various freedoms like freedom of speech and expressions, Freedom to follow any religion etc. The Constitution have provided so many rights.

• ⚠️In countries like Saudi Arabia, Women were not having rights to cast vote. And also, many countries like in Europe before Revolution like France also had this system, but not now.

✺A democratic country is based on free and fair elections where those in power have fair chance of losing too. No corruption during the election time.

• ⚠️In China, people donot have a choice to select because every time people from Chinese Communist party are only selected for National people's congress.
• ⚠️In Mexico, they seem to have a choice, but practically they don't have. Because one of the main reason for saying so, the polling booths are moved from one place to another in the election days. Thete is no way of ruling party to get defeated.

✺In a democracy, each adult have one vote, and each vote have equal value. This is also known as political equality.

• ⚠️In Ethiopia ,Russian minority are not prior in voting.
• ⚠️In fiji, The vote of Indian- fijians are less valued.

✺A democratic government functions within the limits set by the Constitutional laws and citizens' rights.

• ⚠️Since, the independence of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe always won because he use to apply dirty tricks to win. Like government employees were forced to vote him only. Media was not allowed to say against him etc.

▶️Our Country India follows each and every of this features, Thus it is a well democratic country. Our Constitution is known to be the finest of any constitution of the world.
