On the basis of the Monsoon, the cropping season in India is divided between two known as the Kharif and Rabi. Therefore, crops grown in winter are called the Rabi crop. The timing for sowing seeds of the crops is from October to March, these crops are harvested during the season of spring. Wheat, oats, barley, mustard, linseed are some of the examples of the Rabi crop.
