It is denoted by V and is given as
Where, S is the displacement and
t is the time taken.
Since displacement is expressed in meters and time taken in seconds. Velocity is expressed in meters/second or m/s.
In any problem if any of these two quantities are given we can find the missing quantity using this formula.

well u don't need to concentrate on formulas just think of different ways to find the velocity as there are multiple ways to do that in physics but I'll just explain u the ones in kinematics.....
u can use 3 eq. of motion to find the velocity...
v = u + at
x= ut + 1/2at^2
and v^2 = u^2 + 2aX...
and there are many more Trust me concentrate on the methods not the formulas as even knowing them you will not be able to solve the questions in hand
