iii The Medulla Oblongata controls the internal organs' functioning.
iv It reacts towards pain and sensation and thinks a way out of it.

1. Brain controls the various voluntary movements of the body like walking, running, typing, facial expressions like smile, anger etc.

2. It controls the balance of the body, both static balance and dynamic balance.

3. The functions of various vital involuntary organs like pumping of blood by heart, urine formation by kidneys, gaseous exchange by lungs, etc are also under the control of brain.
