Blood is a fluid connective tissue which helps in transmission of gases through RBC present in blood and haemoglobin is the pigment which is responsible for transmission of gases

Blood vessels help in transport of blood all over the body they are minute vessels which are distributed all over the body..

Though there are many functions of them, these are main function of blood and blood vessel respectively..

Blood vessels are of three types arteries ,veins and capillaries. The arteries, which carry the blood away from the heart; the capillaries, which enable the actual exchange of water and chemicals between the blood and the tissues; and the veins, which carry blood from the capillaries back toward the heart.
