Cerebrum functions:

1. Frontal Lobe- associated with reasoning, planning, parts of speech, movement, emotions, and problem solving

2. Parietal Lobe- associated with movement, orientation, recognition, perception of stimuli

3. Occipital Lobe- associated with visual processing

4. Temporal Lobe- associated with perception and recognition of auditory stimuli, memory, and speech

Cerebellum functions:

1. co ordinates the voluntary movements

2. smooth and balanced muscular activity.

Medulla oblangata - functions:

1. conscious control of skeletal muscles

2. co ordination and regulation of sound impulses

Pituitary gland - functions:

1. regulate the functions of other endocrine systems.

Pons - functions:

control of breathing, communication between different parts of brain.

Mid brain functions:

It communicates with the cerebrum

Hind brain functions:

co ordinating and controlling the body systems.
