✨ hey mate here is ur answer ✨
→made up of proteins and lipids
→selectively permeable membrane
→give shape to the cell
→segregates cell content from surrounding
→it is present in both Plant and Animal cell
→is outermost covering of animal cell
→it is present outside the cytoplasm
→plasma membrane is flexible and comparatively thin

Function of plasma membrane is:
1. Cell membrane (plasma membrane) is made of two layers of phospholipids.
2. It has many proteins embedded in it.
3. The fundamental structure of plasma membrane is phospholipid bilayer. It forms a stable barrier between two aqueous compartments.
4. Plasma membrane regulates the entry and exit of cell. It regulates the molecular traffic in the cell. Many molecules cross the cell membrane by osmosis and diffusion.
5. The proteins which are present in the plasma membrane act as pumps, receptors, channels, enzymes or structural components.
