Stomach : Stomach is a J shaped part of an alimentary canal. It is a store house of food. It is responsible for softening the food its muscular walls of stomach helps in mixing the food properly. Stomach is also involved in digestion.

Buccal Cavity : Buccal cavity consists tongue and teeth. Tongue is a muscular organ which helps in mixing food with saliva while teeth are responsible in cutting, tearing, grinding and chewing the food. Hence, digestion is also occurs in buccal cavity.

Small Intestine : Small intestine is the longest part of the alimentary canal. It is responsible for major digestion and absorption. It breaks the large fat molecules into smaller molecules. Thus, digestion is occurs in small intestine.

Oesophagus - Oesophagus is a long food pipe which carries food from mouth to stomach. Thus, Digestion does not occurs in oesophagus.
